Product Description
TaylorMade M1 460 is the driver for you if you want maximum distance and to control the details yourself.
It is a 460cc driver built in titanium and 6-layer carbon, which provides an extremely low center of gravity and plenty of speed off the ball. The result is high ball speed, low spin, and a penetrating ball flight.
It is aimed especially at the experienced and ambitious player with good swing speed who wants to fine-tune their equipment rather than just swing and hope.
The T-Track system gives you two movable weights:
Adjust draw or fade bias
Fine-tune launch and spin
You can work the ball up to about 25 yards sideways and change launch by around one degree depending on weight placement. It is not an “auto-straight” driver — it is a tool for you who know what you want.
M1 460 is known for its low spin. One of the lowest in its generation. This gives a more efficient ball flight and extra yards in carry. Many experience 1–2 mph extra ball speed and noticeably longer carry than the predecessor.
The forgiveness is sensible without being excessive. The head is larger and more oval-shaped, which helps stability on slight mishits, but it clearly rewards you most when you find the sweet spot.
The sound is something special. Thanks to Geocoustic technology, you get a high, distinct, and hollow “crack” sound at impact. There is no doubt when you strike it pure.
In short:
Driver for better players
Focus on distance and low spin
Plenty of room for customization
Designed for higher swing speeds
If you want to control launch, spin and ball flight yourself — and chase those extra yards from the tee — then the M1 460 is still a serious distance-driver.
