Inside, the backpack features waterproof padding on the front panels, providing protection from changing weather conditions. Strong double zippers and compression straps with PVC buckles ensure the safety of items stored inside. Designed with practicality in mind, the backpack offers six zippered compartments and pockets. The top flap fastens with a large PVC buckle, making it easy to open even with gloves. Two smaller zippered pockets on the flap allow for quick access to essential items such as keys, documents, flashlights, or sunglasses. The pockets feature two Velcro panels for attaching items like ID badges and a cord for securing loose items or coats. Opening the top flap provides access to the backpack's two largest compartments and two smaller pockets. The main compartment at the back features an additional pocket, perfect for storing a laptop or tablet. This pocket, sewn onto the back of the tent, doesn't touch the bottom of the backpack, preventing damage to valuable electronics when set down. This pocket is sewn with a soft lining and Velcro at the top for added security. The second compartment is slightly smaller and features an open canvas pocket. You can store maps, guidebooks, or documents in it. The two remaining front pockets provide quicker access to important items. The larger one, which opens 50%, has a smaller zippered pocket inside and another mesh pocket. You can store a flash drive, cash, or other valuables in these pockets. The second pocket is flat and opens from the top. For added functionality, the backpack features five adjustable compression straps and over 20 PALS webbing straps and attachment points for smaller items like a mug, flashlight, or bottle. For carrying comfort, the backpack is equipped with an adjustable chest strap for added stability. Additionally, the padded, contoured back and shoulder straps with soft padding eliminate the feeling of burden and guarantee comfort even during extended use.
