Technical information about this shooting stick
Weight: 1000 g
Materials: carbon fibre
Dimensions:
-fully extended, the stick measures 1.58 m (from the ground to the surface of the “head” that holds the rifle)
- fully collapsed (i.e. with the 3 telescopic sections retracted), it measures 70 cm.
Height adjustments are simple and quick, requiring just a few seconds.
The strong point of this model
Each leg (foot) telescopes to 2 lengths. Depending on your height, this allows the stick to be unfolded to different lengths. Its main feature is that it can be adjusted in height and width (the space between the legs can be adjusted), while also setting the angle of the 2 side legs to suit all terrains (flatlands, slopes, mountain slopes, etc.).
It is also 3-in-1: it can be used in monopod, bipod or tripod versions
Other features of the Vanguard Quest T62
The mobile leg (like the 2 other legs) is easy to handle thanks to a contoured foam grip on the top. The legs are made of non-slip rubber for stability when shooting. Finally, to keep the barrel of your weapon perfectly held in place, the V-shaped support is made of thin rubber strips. Note that the stand also swivels through 360°, so you can shoot from any viewing angle without having to reposition the stick.
Note
When you are not hunting, you can still use your stick by removing the V-shaped support. You will then have access to a universal 1/4 screw thread for attaching telescopes, camcorders or cameras.
