PolyX Breaker anti-puncture protection

Directly derived from the automotive industry, PolyX Breaker® technology is incorporated into this road bike tyre.It is an extremely strong polyester fibre, woven very tightly in a criss-cross pattern. This makes the tyre particularly resistant to foreign objects and punctures, without negatively affecting rolling resistance during your rides.

DuraSkin side reinforcement

To face the most hostile conditions, this road tyre is equipped with DuraSkin® protection.A high-quality polyamide fabric envelops the carcass to protect the sides from cuts, impacts against the pavement or debris.It is the perfect ally for urban cyclists and sprinters that put their equipment to the test.

Standard tube assembly and flex beads

This Continental Gatorskin model is a tube-type tyre, so it must be fitted with an inner tube (not compatible with tubeless tyres).The version presented here has flexible beads, which reduces the overall weight of the road tyre compared to a rigid bead and makes it easier to fit.
