Backpack technical tests.
We complete laboratory tests to certify components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips... for example, for a fabric: resistance to scratches, tears, colour stability when exposed to UV rays, during washing, waterproofing.. Subsequently, a test on the end product which accelerates the impact experienced by the bag over the years, to manage the resistance of assemblies: The backpack is weighted, then placed on a dummy which reproduces the movement of fast walking through thousands of cycles.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which provides the equivalent volume in litres.
How do I adjust my backpack?
FIRSTLY, LOOSEN all webbing (straps, belt, support straps). PUT ON THE BACKPACK. For bags of 50 l and greater, PLACE THE BELT ON HIPS (it must cover the iliac bones of the pelvis) and TIGHTEN IT. With smaller size bags, place around waist. TIGHTEN THE STRAPS. Finally, ADJUST THE SUPPORT STRAPS, to suit.
