What are kids' golf balls used for?

Kids' golf balls provide a softer and lighter way for young beginners to practise their first swings and make contact with the ball.... The current category contains two INESIS foam products rather than conventional hard golf balls for normal course play. The larger coral-pink kids' foam golf ball has a 60 mm diameter, making it easier for a child to see and strike. Its lightweight polyurethane construction can be used for golf discovery on grass, sand, tarmac or snow. The yellow six-ball pack stays closer to standard golf-ball dimensions and suits repeated practice at home. Both products are solid foam, so they do not need inflation or pressure checks before use.


What is the difference between the two foam balls?

The coral-pink ball and yellow six-pack differ in size, quantity and intended use. The pink children's ball measures 60 mm across and is sold individually. Its enlarged format can make first contact easier for a young beginner using an INESIS First Club. The yellow foam balls measure 4.3 cm in diameter, close to the size of a conventional golf ball, and each one weighs 9 g. They come in a pack of six for repeated swing, contact and short-game practice. Other golf balls may use firmer constructions intended for normal play, so foam practice balls must not be treated as replacements for regulation balls on the course.


Do foam golf balls travel as far as normal balls?

No. The yellow INESIS foam balls are made to travel a shorter distance than conventional golf balls, which makes them more practical for gardens and other confined practice areas. Their 9 g weight is much lower than that of a regulation ball, reducing both flight distance and impact. INESIS does not publish a fixed distance because the result depends on the club, swing speed, launch angle and playing conditions. The larger pink ball is also intended for informal golf discovery rather than full-distance shots. Useful golf accessories such as practice nets and child-sized clubs can help create a more organised setup without requiring access to a full golf course.
