With the 15 kg cast iron dumbbell set from VirtuFit, you get everything you need for strength training. The dumbbell set is a good choice to start with if you have little experience, but it is also very popular among experienced athletes. This is because a dumbbell set can be used for dozens of exercises for the back, triceps, neck, biceps, shoulders, and chest, while also training your balance and posture. What many people don’t know is that a dumbbell set is also great for training your legs. Put tension on your hamstrings, thighs, or calves and use the dumbbells from VirtuFit to add weight.
NOTE: the dumbbell is sold individually.
The dumbbell set consists of:
- 2 weight plates of 3 kg
- 2 weight plates of 2 kg
- 2 weight plates of 1 kg
- 2 weight plates of 0.5 kg
- 1 dumbbell bar of 1.5 kg
- 2 screw collars of 0.25 kg
It is important to always securely tighten the plates with the included screw collars during use for your own safety. At first, you may not have balance in the muscles you are training and therefore hold the dumbbell(s) at an angle, which can cause the plates to slip off. When you are just starting strength training, we also recommend not to start too heavy right away. This can cause muscle overload and eventually injuries. The plates have a 30 mm hole.
