Since the success of the Cinturato Gravel RC, our very first gravel race tire, we've developed an even stronger version: the Cinturato Gravel RC X. This model features the new Techwall X Gravel, a 60 tpi fabric carcass structure extended beyond the tread, with an additional layer of bead-to-bar protection. Retaining the characteristic tread design of our RC models, the Cinturato Gravel RC X is designed for gravel racing on uneven surfaces.Technologies :SpeedGRIP Compound: SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber formula born of Pirelli's experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip performance on and off the road are crucial. This chemical formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the ATV-specific SmartGRIP compound, while reducing its rolling resistance. Gravel use requires good speed and on-road capabilities, so our engineers have modified the compound's characteristics towards greater energy efficiency with little compromise on grip, resulting in a predictable compound with solid on- and off-road performance.ShellTechwall X Gravel: To develop a tire capable of meeting all the demands of gravel racing on rough terrain, our engineers combined technologies from road-specific reinforced casings with those specific to mountain biking. The result is a tubeless casing construction featuring a cut-resistant, reinforced 60 tpi fabric extended beyond the tread, plus a heel-to-heel protection layer. The Techwall X Gravel, even with its improved puncture protection, still offers optimum riding feel thanks to its folding aramid TLR tubeless-ready triangles, optimized for wide rims and low-pressure riding.
