Galfer Bike launches its innovative fixed version of the Disc Shark®, the most complete MTB brake disc available today. Its innovative manufacturing process uses laser cutting to create the optimal design geometry and achieve the best possible performance.One of the disc's unique features is the inner fin that gives it its name: Disc Shark®. These fins, along with the small round holes inside the rotor, help reduce the disc's operating temperature, while the outer Wave design of the rotor and the side openings give it powerful and consistent grip across the entire contact area of the brake pad.Details: Greater braking power: The Disc Shark® design means that less pressure is required in the brake line in the most demanding situations, which means less effort is required to brake. This results in a 5-10% increase in braking power under normal conditions. More stable: Even in the most unfavorable temperature conditions (steep slopes, high speeds, high ambient temperatures, and heavy loads), the Disc Shark® maintains stable and consistent performance at all times. Its structural design adapts to different disc diameters to achieve the appropriate rigidity for each model. Less heat: Disc Shark® significantly reduces operating temperature—a 30% reduction compared to other high-end discs currently on the market—and is manufactured in one piece for greater strength. Longer brake pad life: Under normal conditions, brake pad life increases by 25-40% with Disc Shark®.
