Ensuring extreme mileage between re-lubrication intervals.Three premium ingredients deliver superior results: Highly refined paraffin creates a tough, dry-to-the-touch coating that repels water, eliminates abrasive contaminants that cause friction, and virtually eliminates chain stains. Spherical tungsten has a unique hollow core that reduces vibration friction caused by high-torque pedaling. The micrometric size and spherical shape help reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface. Boron nitride ceramic pads coat the chain to form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works in synergy with the spherical tungsten to reduce wear and extend the life of expensive drivetrain components. HALO® HOT WAX bags are designed to be boiled in water to melt the wax granules inside. The bag is reusable and contains enough wax granules (600g) for approximately 25 chain dips.
