This pair of lightweight aluminium wheels is a no-brainer for anyone looking to easily replace original wheels. The Ksyrium S Disc can significantly improve the performance of any bike and offers an easy entry point to Mavic quality that takes no shortcuts.
The Ksyrium S Disc is 40g lighter than the old Ksyrium UST Disc, while being stronger and stiffer laterally. Stiffness is optimised thanks to Fore technology. The upper bridge is not drilled, which optimises strength and stiffness, and eliminates the need for a rim tape, saving an additional 30g per wheel. The new rim shape makes mounting and removing tyres easier than ever, and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures. These rims are made in France at our aluminium rim factory.
Our new Infinity hub platform optimises stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while our Instant Drive 360 freehub, combined with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto), provides quick engagement and great longevity. The Ksyrium S Disc not only rides fast but also looks fast. The matte painted hubs, invisible welds on the rim, and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out from the crowd. Specifically designed for disc brakes, it is compatible with a 12x100 axle at the front and 12x142 at the rear, and can be converted to Quick Release with the included adapters. It is available for Shimano and Sram XD-Road cassettes and can be converted for Campagnolo with an optional drive body. For Center Lock discs only.
