This pair of lightweight aluminium wheels is a no-brainer for anyone looking to easily replace their original wheels. The Ksyrium S can significantly improve the performance of any bike and serves as an easy entry point to Mavic quality, without cutting corners.
The Ksyrium S is 60g lighter than the old Ksyrium UST while being wider, stronger, and laterally stiffer. The stiffness is optimized thanks to Fore technology. The upper bridge is undrilled, which enhances strength and stiffness, and eliminates the need for a rim tape, saving an additional 30g per wheel. The new rim shape makes fitting and removing tyres easier than ever, and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures. These rims are made in France at our aluminium rim factory.
Our new Infinity hub platform optimises stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while the Instant Drive 360 freehub combined with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) offers quick engagement and long durability. The Ksyrium S not only rolls fast, it looks fast too. The matte painted hubs, invisible welds on the rim, and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out from the crowd. It’s available for Shimano cassettes and can be converted for Campagnolo or XD-Road with optional freehub bodies.
