Shelter Off-Road is a transparent, impact- and scratch-resistant adhesive tape. It provides reliable protection for carbon fiber or metal structures to which it is applied. Shelter Off-Road has a 0.2 mm scratch-resistant top layer and a 1 mm viscoelastic, rubbery backing. This unique composite construction allows the Shelter to distribute impact energy within its structure, without transmitting or reducing it, very effectively. Shelter Off-Road is the thickest Shelter available and is ideal for more intensive off-road use. Shelter is transparent but will not yellow over time, thanks to its UV protection. It even protects the underlying frame paint from UV degradation. IMPORTANT: After removing Shelter, there may be color differences between protected and unprotected areas, especially with fluorescent or brightly colored paints.
