The New Balance 9060 Vintage Indigo is a technical running shoe with a chunky, exaggerated midsole inspired by early-2000s sneaker design, combining retro style with modern running technology. The upper blends breathable mesh with soft suede overlays that fuse into the midsole, finished in Vintage Indigo with Arctic Grey and Steel accents. Cushioning and energy return come from ABZORB and SBS technologies in the midsole, while a semi-translucent plastic heel counter adds structure and visual contrast. Minimal branding includes the New Balance "N" on the side panels, "NB 9060" on the tongue tag and a small "N" under the laces. Released September 23, 2023, retail price was $150.
