Dunlop adds another chapter to its CX 400! Like the previous generation, this update combines a powerful 24mm frame with a 16x19 string pattern. It also features a balance weight of less than 315, maximizing speed with rhythm and spin. For this update, Dunlop restructured the frame internally, adding a box shape below the 10/2 axis to enhance stability, control, and feel. Additional changes for 2024 include Powergrid Stringtech+, which increases the spacing between strings for more spin and power. Dunlop also updated the stiffness profile, adding greater flexibility on the inside of the structure to improve response time, while stiffening the racket face for added stability and power. To help reduce impact vibrations, a highly elastic material (called Vibroshield) has been added to the middle section of the frame and shaft. This material is complemented by Sonic Core with Infinergy, a unique flexible material applied at the 3/9 axis of the head allowing increased comfort and power. Ultimately, this CX 400 update is an excellent choice for intermediate players looking for a fast and easy racket that generates enough power to finish points.
