It all starts with the This Grips!™ outsole, featuring two strategically placed rubber densities for optimal traction, whether you're in the parking lot or hiking up the mountain. The full-length EVA midsole is paired with Harshmellow™ technology, a shock-absorbing material that reduces vibrations and softens even the hardest landings. Less impact means more comfort and a fresh feeling all day long.Inside, the multi-density Control Foam liner uses Intuition® thermoformable foam, known for its lightness, durability, warmth, and exceptional shape memory—it adapts perfectly to the foot's contours and retains its shape. This liner is held in place by a three-point harness that stabilizes the ankle and limits heel lift for optimal board control.The patented Endo™ construction makes the boot extremely lightweight. By replacing the traditional heel counter with an injected polymer material, K2 can adjust the Hanford's flex and rebound without adding weight.
