The Jul² Belay Kit Bulletproof Belay by EDELRID is a belay set specifically for sport climbing consisting of the Jul² belay device and the HMS BULLETPROOF BELAY carabiner. The Jul² belay device is a compact belay device for single ropes with a diameter of 8.9 to 11 mm. The Jul² operates on the auto-tube principle, providing high braking force and assisting the belayer in catching a fall. Unlike standard tubes, the Jul² from EDELRID offers braking force support, requiring less effort to hold. The HMS Bulletproof Belay FG from EDELRID is an extremely robust locking carabiner with a proven steel insert from the Bulletproof series. Thanks to its compact shape and slider closure, the belay carabiner has a slim profile and can be operated with one hand. The integrated wire gate reliably prevents the carabiner from twisting in the harness loop, avoiding unfavorable cross-loads. Additionally, the gate can only be opened with pressure from above, preventing the harness loop from unintentionally coming loose.
