Protection and Safety
The ASAP LOCK system ensures continuous fall protection while moving freely along the rope without user intervention. In case of acceleration or impact, the mechanism automatically locks to secure the operator and limit the risk of injury.
Manual Locking Function
The integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the fall arrest device on the rope to reduce fall height or prevent the rope from being lifted in strong winds. This option facilitates work in a fixed position and improves control during critical operations.
Design and Materials
Made of aluminum, stainless steel, and polyamide, the ASAP LOCK offers an optimal compromise between lightness (approximately 425-452 g) and strength. Its design includes a connection arm that prevents loss of the device when passing through intermediate anchors.
Compatibility and Uses
Designed for use on vertical or angled rope, ASAP LOCK is compatible with energy absorbers ASAP SORBER / ASAP SORBER AXESS and specified ropes (AXIS 11 mm, RAY 12 mm, or ropes of 10-13 mm according to certification). It can be easily installed and removed at any point on the rope.
