    • The DUAL CAVING lanyard by Petzl is specially designed for caving and progression on handrails.

    Design and Materials

    The DUAL CAVING lanyard is made from dynamic rope combined with polyamide and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) components. The choice of these materials helps limit the shock force transmitted during a low-height fall while providing durability and abrasion resistance.

    Strand Configuration

    The lanyard features a short strand of 35 cm for close attachment points and a long strand of 65 cm to increase the range of movement. This configuration facilitates progression on handrails and crossing splits.

    Protection and Orientation of Carabiners

    Each end is protected by plastic sheathing that keeps the carabiner in the correct orientation and protects the stitching areas from premature wear, enhancing safety and handling in technical conditions.

    Compatibility and Installation

    Designed for central installation on the OMNI carabiner, the DUAL CAVING integrates directly with AVEN and SUPERAVANTI harnesses. Installation is not intended for the head of a lark.

    Safety and Traceability

    Each lanyard is individually marked on the plastic sheath for precise traceability. Complies with CE EN 17520 and UKCA standards, made in the Czech Republic.
