Design and Materials
The CAMP Druid Pro descender features a forged aluminium alloy body and handle combined with micro-cast stainless steel mechanical parts. This construction combines robustness and lightness for optimal durability during intensive professional use.
Rope Performance
Thanks to an internal mechanism and patented locking cam, the device ensures smooth rope glide, limiting premature wear and allowing light shock absorption through controlled slight slipping of the rope inside the device.
Use and Compatibility
Suitable for 10 to 11 mm semi-static ropes, the Druid Pro is designed for rope access operations, pruning, progression on structures, and rescue interventions, with capabilities compliant with EN standards for work and rescue use.
Safety and Limitations
The device includes a cam equipped with a trigger release and a small ring for attaching a loss-prevention cord. The handle does not feature an anti-panic function: the descender is therefore intended for experienced users or for work on inclined planes.
Technical Certifications
The Druid Pro is certified EN 12841 - C (adjustment on rope for persons up to 120 kg), EN 341/2A (rescue descender on rope), and EN 15151-1 (progression on structures with dynamic ropes), ensuring compliance with professional requirements.
