The Eufab SD260 is an innovative, stable and versatile bike carrier specially developed for vehicles with barn doors such as campers, vans, motorhomes, family buses and high-roof estates. Thanks to its unique sliding system, it can be extended approx. 70 cm to the rear even when loaded, allowing rear barn doors up to approx. 85 cm wide to be opened easily – a real comfort advantage on the road.
For 2 bikes, expandable to 3, with a load capacity of 60 kg
The SD260 safely and reliably transports up to 2 bicycles, with a maximum payload of 60 kg. This also makes it ideal for heavy e-bikes. With a rail spacing of 240 mm and a maximum wheelbase of 1300 mm, it is perfectly suited for bikes with large frames and wide tires (up to 82 mm). The carrier can optionally be equipped with a separately available extension kit for a third bicycle.
Easy installation and secure mounting
Installation is quick and easy on almost any tow bar using the lockable quick-release clamping system. The carrier is delivered pre-assembled and ready for use in just a few steps. Removable, lockable frame holders with rubber inserts provide a secure hold, protect the paintwork and are also suitable for oversized or Y-frames. The sturdy aluminium rails with plastic supports and the ratchet system for tire fastening ensure simple yet secure fixation.
Innovative sliding system for full rear access
The special advantage of the SD260 is the integrated sliding system. Even with bikes mounted, the entire carrier can be moved backwards to open the trunk or rear doors of your vehicle. This makes it perfect for travel vehicles where rear access is frequently needed.
Foldable and space-saving
When not in use, the SD260 can be folded and stored in a space-saving manner. This makes it practical not only in use but also for storage.
High safety and European standards
The bike carrier is fully lockable – both the carrier itself and the bicycles. With its 13-pin connector, it meets the legal requirements of many European countries. The license plate holder complies with EU standards (520 mm x 110 mm) and is height-adjustable up to 130 mm.
