Durability and maintenance
The lounger is made of 100% teak. This type of wood does not splinter and is robustly resistant to weather influences such as rain and thus resistant to wood rot. Teak wood is very easy to maintain. However, for an optimal lifespan of your garden furniture, maintenance is crucial. Our advice is to clean the furniture with a scouring pad or coarse brush and a bucket of lukewarm water mixed with a cup of table salt or baking soda. Make sure the furniture is well soaked so that the pores of the material are open. Scrub in the direction of the wood grain and rinse the furniture thoroughly with water. Avoid using a pressure washer and harsh cleaners, and try to store the furniture in autumn if possible.
