The hybrid Alpine Merino Responsive fabric is ideal for winter base layers. By combining merino wool with polyamide, it instantly wicks sweat away from the skin and dries just as quickly. The synthetic fibers are enriched with Responsive technology, a blend of thermoreactive minerals. Responsive converts body-generated far infrared (FIR) energy and then slowly returns it to muscle tissue, allowing the body to maintain thermal comfort for longer, improving performance during exercise, and accelerating recovery. Because the technology is an integral part of the material, it won't wash out or wear out. A special weaving process encases the nylon core in superfine merino wool.
