The hybrid construction of the jacket combines the Airlite Windproof material with inner insulation and AFT Double Weave Pro. Airlite Windproof is lightweight, breathable, and windproof, and is insulated with Polartec Alpha in key areas on the inside. Polartec Alpha is a specially developed material (originally designed for U.S. Special Forces) intended for highly aerobic activities, with hydrophobic fibres that resist moisture and dry quickly. Additionally, the fibres have high loft, creating a very soft and warm fleece-like texture. Alpha provides so-called active thermal insulation, effectively retaining heat and rapidly wicking away moisture, making it ideal for products designed for intense physical activities such as skitouring, cross-country skiing, or fast ascents.

The jacket's perfect technical cut and flexible wind-resistant panels made of AFT Double Weave Pro allow for unrestricted movement. The outer material is treated with an reusable water-repellent finish, PFC FREE, which prevents the fabric from absorbing water and the insulation from blow-impactming damp.

The renowned YKK Vislon Slim is a plastic moulded zip with narrower teeth, allowing it to be almost "folded," providing the advantage of greater and easier packability without the risk of zip damage. The hood is designed to fit under a helmet, and the high-placed main pockets are easily accessible even when using a hip belt or harness.
