Delta Optical Discovery 12x50 Binoculars The Delta Optical Discovery series of binoculars features models with a durable construction based on a solid aluminum and rubber-coated body. The lenses used in Discovery binoculars are coated with effective multi-layer anti-reflective coatings. Wide eyecups and large eyepiece lens diameters make every observation a pleasure. The Discovery 12x50 binoculars offer 12x magnification compared to the basic Discovery 10x50 model. This allows distant objects to appear closer and clearer, compensating for the slightly narrower field of view. Binoculars with these parameters are excellent for daytime observations of both nat ure and landscapes, although the image brightness after dark will be slightly lower than that of the 10x50 model.
