Product Description
The Shock Doctor Gel Max mouthguard for children is designed for young participants in contact sports, up to 11 years old. Its child-specific format takes the jaw into account to help provide a suitable hold during activity.
Its triple-layer construction combines a Gel-Fit™ liner with a reinforced outer body. The gel liner forms a mould around the teeth and gum line to create a close, secure fit. This system allows the mouthguard to adapt to the player’s dentition after fitting.
The Gel Max uses a boil-and-bite fitting method. This process allows the shape of the mouthguard to be customised to the jaw. The design is described as easier to fit, helping young athletes prepare their equipment.
On the outside, the exoskeletal shock frame is reinforced with a rubber exoskeleton. This component contributes to the model’s shock-absorbing properties during contact activities. Integrated breathing channels complete the structure, allowing the player to breathe while wearing the mouthguard.
