The Wilier Triestina Adlar is designed for bikepacking, exploring and touring. The carbon-fiber frame structure has been reinforced to such an extent that it allows a maximum additional load of 35 kg. Wilier engineers have added to this quality with new shapes, a careful study of geometries and a completely internal cable routing.The Adlar frame weighs 1100 g and comes in five sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL). Its geometries are derived from mountain biking, which is why the horizontal development of the front triangle (reach) is rather pronounced. This solution makes it possible to adopt a shorter stem, which works in synergy with a relatively open steering angle (70°). This evolution gives greater maneuverability and control on the most demanding trails with the bike loaded.Generous wheel arches accommodate any 52 mm wide gravel Tyre (52-622) as well as 29x2.00" MTB Tyres. The Frame has been designed to accommodate a Fork with particularly long forks. This configuration facilitates the installation of a suspension fork (maximum travel of 40 mm compatible with a 1" 1/4 - 1" 1/2 tapered headset) without changing the overall geometry of the frame. There's also a hole in the fork steerer tube for a dynamo hub /axle cable.
