The Lake 22 II Down Jacket by Columbia is a lightweight down-filled jacket that can be worn on its own or as a layer under a waterproof jacket. The down used here has a fill power of 650 fill power. This makes it an excellent layer on its own in temperatures as low as 0 degrees Celsius. The insulation is RDS certified, meaning it is sourced from animals that live healthily, in conditions that do not restrict their eko behavior, free from fear, pain, or suffering. The down is sealed in sealed chambers, preventing the outer material from being punctured by sewing needles, preventing the down from escaping and increasing wind resistance. The jacket has a scuba hood that completely covers the ears and part of the face, providing excellent thermal insulation. It is equipped with two zippered pockets. The outer material is water-repellent.
