Choosing your size
The choice of size depends on the type of boots you wish to use. The product must fit snugly to prevent them from slipping off. Please refer to the size chart or our “How to choose your size” guide. Available from S to XL.
PPE certification
The personal protective equipment (PPE) certification makes sure that the products comply with harmonised standards and meet the standards of PPE.
Caution: not suitable for walking on glaciers or in steep, snow-covered couloirs, which strictly requires mountaineering crampons (NF EN 893 Standard).
WHAT ABOUT POLES ?
For improved balance, we strongly advise using a pair of hiking poles. On snowy terrain, be sure to have large baskets to prevent them from sinking into the snow.
Putting on direction
Make sure that this valve is present and properly positioned in its casing.
Easy to transport and tips on use/care
Supplied in a storage bag. After use, we recommend allowing your crampons to air dry before storing them for an extended period. If used on salty surfaces, rinse them with clean water and then dry them thoroughly before storing them in the bag.
Always remember safety
It is essential not to confuse hiking crampons with mountaineering crampons: for navigating deep snow and steep slopes, it is essential to use mountaineering crampons, as they have deeper spikes and front-facing spikes, and are also suitable for use on glaciers.
