How is your jacket made?
- The neoprene is initially glued.
- Specific GBS seams: the needle does not pass completely through the neoprene to prevent water from entering the jacket when diving.
Textile lining
Unlike spearfishing wear which is made with raw neoprene interiors (also called smooth, split or backed neoprene), the lining provides durability, and helping you get in and out of your wetsuit.
Glide skin neoprene
We chose glide skin neoprene to minimise water resistance. This enables you to move underwater with minimal effort.
On the other hand, glide skin neoprene is a fragile material.
HOW TO MAINTAIN AND REPAIR YOUR GLIDESKIN WETSUIT
The surface coating (glide skin) helps the material slide, but also makes the surface of your wetsuit more fragile than a fabric.
In order to protect the outer surface, avoid direct contact with fingernails or toenails when you’re getting in and out of your wetsuit.
