CHARACTERISTICS OF A CARBON TIP.
A carbon tip is more rigid but no less sensitive to bites at the same casting weight as fibreglass.
Its stiffness helps reduce tip wobble caused by the wind, while pole allowing bite detection.
It is therefore suitable for the majority of fishing conditions.
HOW TO TELL A CARBON TIP FROM A FIBREGLASS TIP
Carbon tips are completely black at the fitting base, whereas fibreglass tips are translucent.
