Sun protection
UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA.
Behaviour when in the sun.
Although this cover provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: wear a UV protection T-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.
Resistance to the wind.
This shelter has been tested in a wind tunnel. You are advised not to use it in winds in excess of 20 km/h, because the pegs may fall off.
If there is a light wind, install the shelter facing the wind. The wind will inflate the canvas and provide more shade in a relaxing silence. Since the canvas is made of elasthane polyester, it does not make any noise.
