No more unwanted noise!
Have you already had to place your fingers in the middle of the feet of your shooting stick to keep them apart and avoid any impact noise? Forget it now! On this model, the bumpers, the rubber elements that act as absorption pads, were designed by our teams: there are now 3 on the 3 strands to avoid any possible shock between them. An undeniable benefit when you know that discretion is key when stalking or hunting from a hide.
TPR for even greater discretion
When you’re out and about, you walk in silence, stopping frequently to look and listen to your surroundings. As with hunting from a hide, it is essential not to make any noise to avoid scaring off potential animals in the vicinity. That’s why this tripod has thermoplastic rubber (TPR) bumpers. It is a material that disperses energy on impact. How? Thanks to its elasticity and soft, shock-absorbing nature. Discretion guaranteed!
Using as a camera tripod
The rotating head of the shooting stick can be completely unscrewed: a 3/8" screw is then visible. You can fit a ball-and-socket joint or photo tripod head to use your shooting stick in camera tripod or telescope tripod mode. It can hold equipment up to a maximum of 8 kg.
Adjusting the rotating head
This rotating head can also be tightened as required to adjust the stiffness of the rotation. Simply remove the plastic cap and tighten or loosen the screw to obtain the desired effect. Similarly, the stiffness of the leg spacing can be increased or decreased to suit your preference using the screw on the rotation shaft.
The little bonus to bear in mind
On our previous model, you told us that the absorber pads could deteriorate over time, particularly those at the bottom, cracking if they came into contact with low, aggressive vegetation. This problem is now a thing of the past: the bumpers have been reinforced to offer greater resistance to tearing, while also being quieter. What’s more, the feet have also been thickened for extra strength.
