    Design details

    Cam-assisted locking and 1/2 panic handle:

    - can be used as a belay for lead climbing and top-roping,
    - suitable for teaching climbers how to descend, thanks to its anti-panic handle: if the belay device pulls too hard on the
    handle, the anti-panic mechanism is triggered to stop the rope from running,

    Cam-assisted locking and 2/2 panic handle:

    - optimised for learning top-rope belaying: the ASSIST + mode pre-activates the cam lock to
    make it easier to take up slack and limit the risk of the rope running through the device in the event of an accidental rope release,
    - comfort when belaying, thanks to the cam-assisted lock: during a fall or when the climber rests, the rope is tightened
    thanks to the action of the hand on the braking side; the cam pivots and pinches the rope to lock it.

    Ease of use:

    - easy installation of the rope, thanks to engraved markings on the belay device,
    - techniques common to all Petzl belay devices, based on guiding the rope through the device and keeping
    one hand on the braking-side rope at all times,
    - cam-assisted locking, offering great tolerance of the position of the braking-side hand, whatever the angle between the climber’s
    rope and the braking-side rope,

    Ropes

    - compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for diameters between 8.9 and
    10.5 mm.

    Descent control:

    - comfortable grip and easy rope release, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
    anti-panic handle,
    - x3 leverage of the handle for better control of rope travel on small diameters and less
    effort on the handle for large rope diameters.
