Easy to apply:
A dry cloth on the chain after your ride, one squirt and your bike is ready for the next ride.No more degreasing, no more sludge.
Economical:
With Squirt, there's almost no more need to buy degreaser.Chains last up to twice as long. And above all, you save a huge amount of time on maintenance. And time is money.
Save watts:
Squirt has one of the best performances of all lubricants on the market. You'll go faster and further with less effort.
Long lasting:
One application of Squirt can last up to 500 km on roads and 200 km mountain biking.Set off with peace of mind, your drivetrain will work silently throughout your ride.
Extreme conditions:
The SQUIRT "special low temperatures" lubricant is recommended if it is REALLY cold (below 0°C).
How do I apply this lubricant?
First use:
1. Completely remove the factory grease and the other lubricants on your chain with a degreaser.2. Rinse your chain with clean water and dry it.3. Follow the application instructions below and repeat after 5 minutes.Application instructions:
1. Shake the bottle and apply inside the chain while turning the cranks.2. Do not wipe.3. Dry the chain completely before you cycle – Do not degrease again.
How often should I apply this lubricant?
It depends on driving conditions. In general, when you start hearing a dry chain noise, a new application is already due.In wet and muddy conditions, it won't last as long as in dry and dust-free conditions.Generally, from 30 to 300 miles on one application the chain will remain clean. If you plan to ride in wet conditions, lubricate your chain the day before if possible.
Do I have to degrease my chain before starting to use SQUIRT "Special Low temperatures" for the first time?
Yes.All Squirt Chain and chain wax lubricants should be started on a clean, properly degreased and dry chain. The factory grease on a new chain must be removed with an organic solvent if necessary.A second application five minutes after the first is recommended to start with Squirt.
How often should I degrease my chain when I use this lubricant?
Degreasing isn't necessary when you use Squirt Low Temperature Chain Lube.It doesn't build up black sludge like oils which trap dirt which accelerates chain wear.It doesn't stain and stays dry.Brush with a dry brush if necessary and remove the occasional build-up from the rear derailleur pulleys with a toothbrush.
Why does it work?
Temperatures below zero affect the hardness of the wax particles, reducing the lubricant's effectiveness. This lubricant has a modified freeze point that enables optimal lubrication at these temperatures, keeping your chain silent and cleaner for longer.Squirt contains different waxes for optimal performance, including effective lubrication and good chain grip.
Remember:
Because it's dry, there's no build-up and no grinding paste forms, making your drivetrain last longer.
