    How comfortable are they?

    The NH500 Fresh boots are like a second skin for your feet. Their flexible, breathable upper and ultra-soft EVA sole make them the ideal boots for your adventures.

    How light are they?

    Imagine a featherweight shoe weighing only 255 g in UK size 6! That's the secret behind these boots, allowing you to walk for hours without feeling tired.

    What is OUTDOOR CONTACT grip?

    The grip of our soles is certified. The boot must pass laboratory tests to define its friction coefficient on smooth surfaces. To validate these tests, we assess the quality of our soles out in the field, by a panel of representative testers over 300 kms.

    Are they suitable for the rain?

    These boots are designed for escaping on dry days. Their material is highly breathable to prevent your feet from getting hot. If rain is forecast, opt for a waterproof pair instead!

    What size should you choose?

    To find the right shoe, try several sizes and models. If you are between sizes, choose the size below and your usual size for the other boot sizes, while ensuring that your foot always remains well supported. This will prevent uncomfortable rubbing.

    Why choose a good pair of socks?

    When walking in the forest, on the coast or every day, your feet are presented with numerous constraints. If your shoes rub, this can be unpleasant, especially when you’re also sweating. And the cold can be really uncomfortable if you don’t have adequate protection.

    How can you avoid blisters?

    To prevent blisters, choose boots in your size, and wear close-fitting socks so your feet remain very stable both on climbs and descents. Start with short outings to break in the boots.

    How to care for your boots

    - Drying: Air dry until fully dry.

    We advise you to store your shoes in a place that is protected from humidity and light, and if possible, that is also ventilated. Also avoid areas near to a heat source.

    It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, designs and creates Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. We go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussions to get your feedback which is used to plan our future products!
