    It features the “Impact Brake System Mountaineering” system. This system is applied to the sole to boost traction on ascents and improve grip on descents. Created and developed by La Sportiva's R&D department, it offers real benefits when walking by absorbing negative ground impact. The specific positioning of the studs means that as many of them as possible are in contact with the ground: you've got a great grip on ascents and you've got a good handle on descents.
