How do you use the dummy hub?
Disassembly Remove the thru axle to release and completely remove the rear wheel from your frame.
Placement: Position your chain on the plastic jockey wheel, mimicking the natural movement over the cassette sprockets.
Installation: Insert the chain guide between the frame dropouts (designed for 12 mm axles), in place of the hub.
Mount: Slide your bike’s thru axle through the tool, then tighten it firmly by hand without using a spanner.
When should it be used?
Cleaning It’s the perfect accessory for washing your bike and thoroughly degreasing the drivetrain without the rear wheel getting in the way.
Transport: When riding without the rear wheel, it keeps the chain taut to prevent it from sagging, getting tangled or scratching your frame.
Storage of quick-release fasteners: The tool features two dedicated magnetic slots for storing and securing your quick-release fasteners, so you never lose them.
Compatibility
12mm thru axle and quick release: It fits any bike fitted with a 12 mm rear thru axle (road, gravel bike, mountain bike, e-bike, etc.) or quick release.
What’s more, its roller has solvent resistance, so you can use your usual degreasers without damaging it. You can also attach it to your workbench when you're working on your bike.
