Charging the camera
The product comes with a built-in solar panel (1200mAh) that allows it to be charged continuously.If there is no sunshine for a long period and the solar panel cannot charge, please note that you will need to charge the camera.To do this, lift the silicone protective cover and charge the device using the USB cable.You will need to use a 5V/2A adapter for charging.
Inserting the micro SD card before switching on
The camera does not have any internal memory.You must therefore insert a memory card for the device to work (micro SD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB – Class 10 minimum).To do this:
-lift the silicone cover to access the memory card slot-
insert the memory card (make sure the metal contacts are inserted first)-
push the memory card in until you hear a click
-close the cover
-to remove the card, simply push it out
How the camera works
Switch ON/Switch OFF:
- to switch on the camera, set the switch to the ON position.-Slide the switch to the OFF position to switch the camera off.OFF mode is the "safety" mode, which allows you to replace the memory card, amongst other things.
On-site installation of the product
With the strap:
-thread the strap through the product’s fasteners and around a tree trunk
Using the mounting brackets:
-there are holes on the underside and back of the product for screwing in the brackets provided.Next, attach them to the bird feeder camera, then secure the whole thing to a tree trunk or a pole.
Filling the feeder
Setting out the food:
- pull the roof hatch from back to front to open the seed compartment.Put the food in the feeder.Push the roof hatch from front to back to close the compartment.The feeder can be stretched and enlarged.
