    The concept of thermal comfort through neoprene

    By trapping a thin layer of water around the body, a neoprene wetsuit works in two ways:
    1. The water trapped inside the wetsuit gradually warms up
    2. Heat loss to the outside is reduced.
    The wetsuit and the thin covering of water form a layer of insulation.

    Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties.
