Apply the treatment to clean clothing
The water-repellent treatment of technical clothing can deteriorate over time (progressive wear by friction severe weather). The waterproofing liquid re-activates the water-repellent property of clothing by impregnation. In order to guarantee maximum effectiveness, this treatment must be performed on clean clothing. We therefore recommend that you wash the clothing if necessary with the Tech Wash cleaning product for technical clothing.
First step: PENETRATION
You have two options to choose from!
Soaking:
Immerse 1Â clean garment in 7.5L of lukewarm water in a basin or a sink. Add 100ml of TX.Direct. Stir, leave to stand for 5Â minutes, then stir again. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear
Using a washing machine on a delicate washing cycle at 30° with a low spinning speed:
Place the clean garment(s) (no more than 2) in the washing machine. Add 100ml of TX.Direct for each garment, then start the washing cycle.
Second step: ACTIVATION
Drying using heat activates the water repellent properties.
Yarn drying option:
Let your garment air dry and once dry, apply moderate heat using a hair dryer.
Dryer Option:
Place your garment in your dryer on its own and use a delicate cycle (maximum 30°) also called synthetic or sensitive fibres or maybe sportswear.
