This Pro Sport Lights Speed Pedelec helmet not only has the NTA 8776 mark, but is also CE EN1078 certified. Wearing a helmet is mandatory on a Speed Pedelec, and our helmet easily meets these standards.
In the Netherlands, the NTA 8776 mark is required for speed pedelec helmets, while in Belgium the EN1078 standard applies, with the additional requirement of protection for the temples and the back of the head. Our helmet meets both standards, and wearing an NTA8776-approved helmet will soon become mandatory in Belgium as well.
