Product Description
The Aero X1 is a high-quality entry-level rod that offers excellent value for money and great functionality. Available in 10 meters and 11.5 meters (rod only) and 11.5 meters (pack), it's suitable for carp and silverfish fishing, making it the ideal rod for anglers who don’t need the total length of a longer and more expensive model. Perfect for those seriously getting into pole fishing, the Aero X1 top kits are compatible with the entire range of Aero rods, and extensions are available.
If you're new to pole fishing, or if you have a basic rod and want to upgrade to a more performant one, the Aero X1
is a convincing option. With its 10-meter or 11.5-meter length, the initial cost of acquiring a quality rod is easier to manage, with the advantage of being able to add additional extensions later on. Built from high-quality Japanese carbon (a combination very similar to that of the X5), the X1 is very well balanced, lightweight and stiff, even when fished at full lengths. If you primarily fish for carp and hybrids, the Aero X1 is an excellent choice when fitted with the Super Power Kit, and it can handle thick elastics and very fighting fish. Set up the lighter Super Match Kit, and it will immediately enhance your fishing for silverfish on lakes and rivers.
The versatile performance of the Aero X1 Competition benefits directly from the development programme used during the design of the Aero Pro. The combination of high-quality Japanese carbon and advanced cones makes it a fantastic choice if you’re looking for versatility and strength at an affordable price. The Aero X1 features a series of attributes reinforcing Shimano's commitment to producing the best, regardless of price. The Aero Joint is a reinforcement that enhances durability, the Aero Alignment System maximises rigidity, and the Shimano Ultra Sound Finish ensures super smooth navigation in all conditions. Additionally, all stated lengths are perfectly accurate once the extensions are installed, so you can be sure you're getting your money's worth. You will also notice that reinforcement bands have been integrated into the top kits, allowing you to install the extraction kit of your choice. Finally, the wider sections are not interchangeable with the more expensive Aero X5, X7 or Pro rods, but the top kits are, allowing you to purchase additional kits to complete the X1 rod set, which offers great value for money.
