Magura MT5 Carbotecture Brake Lever Black 2-Finger, Aluminium, Reach-Adjust

Product Description

Product features

• 2-finger lever in lightweight aluminium for precise and comfortable control.
• Housing in Carbotecture (carbon fibres + polymers) offering aluminium-like strength while being 50% lighter.
• Reach-Adjust to adapt the lever reach with a tool according to hand size.
• Compatible with Shimano I-Spec I & II and SRAM Trigger, can be mounted in Flip-Flop configuration for either side.
• Designed for hydraulic disc brakes, particularly suited to all-mountain MTB.

Construction and materials

The lever housing is made from Carbotecture, an optimised composite that combines stiffness and lightness. The lever itself is made of aluminium, micro-adjusted to ensure tensile strength and durability while reducing overall weight.

Ergonomics and adjustments

The two-finger lever offers excellent leverage and a comfortable grip. The Reach-Adjust feature allows precise adjustment of the distance between the grip and the lever using a tool, providing personalised comfort for different hand sizes and riding conditions.

Compatibility and mounting

Designed to be compatible with Shimano I-Spec I & II and SRAM Trigger standards, this lever can be mounted on either side thanks to the Flip-Flop capability, making it easy to adapt to the rider's preferences.

Use and performance

Specifically aimed at all-mountain MTB, this lever delivers simple and precise operation, suitable for recreational cyclists as well as demanding riders seeking a good compromise between reduced weight and robustness.

Model year and compliance

Compatible with braking systems from model year 2015 onwards, this component meets modern performance requirements for hydraulic disc brakes.
