Reliable protection
The Alp Trainer 2 is a modern, ankle-high hiking boot that will provide you with effective protection on long trips in demanding terrain. The upper is made of extremely durable, high-quality suede, and the tongue is made of a strong yet flexible material. The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane lining will repel water attacks when the weather shows its capricious face, and the wide rubber edge will protect the foot from stones and roots and when overcoming rocky debris.
Comfort and stability
The model is designed to offer full comfort from the first time you put it on. The precisely hugging cut is built on the basis of a special shoe last that takes into account the anatomy of the female foot. The 3F System created by SALEWA takes care of lateral stability and ankle stabilization, and the Flex Collar allows the ankle joint to work naturally when descending in steep terrain. In addition, the included Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insert consists of several interchangeable layers that allow you to modify the space inside the shoe and thus even better adapt to the shape and width of the foot. Alp Trainer 2 is also equipped with an extended lacing system, which allows for precise adjustment to the foot from the toe area, and therefore greater precision of step on technical sections.

Developed exclusively for SALEWA, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking sole guarantees grip and control in diverse mountain terrain, in bad weather and on very muddy ground thanks to special zones supporting traction and braking and densely spaced aggressive blocks.
