There are four models in the range to cover everything from small, intimate river fishing with small sinkers and feeders, to larger rivers using large sinkers, PVA bags and oversized feeders. Superb fish-playing actions are complemented by classy graphics, offering a rod that fishes as well as it looks.At the heart of the Purist BX1 barbel is an all-carbon blank. It has been developed to combine the power needed to cope with hard-fighting fish and to throw big sinkers and feeders, with a finely tuned tip to improve touch detection and compensate for powerful lunges, especially at close range. The lightest 1.75 lb model is perfect for small rivers, the mid-range 2.25 lb model is very versatile and the two Intensity models are suitable for larger rivers in the most extreme conditions. All models feature a classic cork handle, a custom DPS reel seat and Shimano Hardlite rings to enhance their remarkable value. For a classy finishing touch, the tip has a short white section for improved visibility and the handle is finished with an alloy tip.
