Product Description
This bit is made of solid cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The material's oxidation process gives it a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a smooth, even pressure distribution. The combination of Cuprigan's design and unique composition help stimulate chewing and salivation, resulting in a delicate bond with the horse's sensitive mouth. The upward-pointing prongs with a ring are turned slightly outwards, ensuring optimum freedom for the horse's head. The bit has a lively action in the mouth.
Product features:
A Pelham bit can be used with Pelham rings and single reins as well as double reins. The autres bit is ideal for powerful, spirited horses. The leverage effect helps to flex the horse's neck; the longer the prongs, the sharper the action. The canon of a single-break bit swings on a point. It works on the horse's tongue, bars, corners of the mouth and sometimes the roof of the mouth. If the reins are used, the bit takes on a V shape. As this canon has only one point articulation, the tongue is freer than with, for example, a canon double break.
