Design and compatibility

The Shimano CN-HG701 chain is specifically developed for Shimano 11-speed drivetrains with HG-X11 technology. Its design ensures precise link guidance for responsive shifting, ideal for cross-country MTB riding.

Performance and shifting

Thanks to the optimised geometry, this chain delivers fast and reliable shifts, reducing snags and energy loss during changes, even under heavy load.

Durability and material

Made from robust steel, the CN-HG701 resists wear and the stresses of off-road use. Its grey finish helps limit corrosion and preserve link integrity over time.

Technical specifications

The chain has 116 links, is suitable for configurations with a double chainring (indicative toothset 36-22) and is fitted at the rear. Designed for cross-country races and rides, it meets the precision and reliability demands of modern drivetrains.

Adjustment and installation

Standard length facilitates fitting and trimming to the required size (chain tool recommended). Compatible with Shimano 11-speed cassettes and derailleurs for optimal performance.
