The ALM/EN stem is a forged 6061 alloy designed for fast rides on rugged MTB terrain. It's a reliable partner for all-terrain/enduro rides. The 6061 alloy is commonly used in yacht construction, car chassis, or diving bottles. This aluminium alloy is made to last under very high pressures. 3D forging - A solid block of heated aluminium is forged and compressed into the desired shape. The advantage of this technology is that there's no need for welding - everything is made from a single block of alloy. As a result, the component is lighter and stronger. T6 - material treatment through cyclical changes in specific conditions to achieve a significant increase in structure. Also known as 'aging process'.
