The Piuma-FS WFS-FS pocket suede flat half pad is designed to ensure maximum comfort and adaptability for horses with prominent withers. Made from Acavallo® suede with a withers-free shape, this half pad features a practical rear pocket to easily insert and configure four sets of Piuma inserts in EVA, a lightweight, resistant, and breathable thermoplastic. The flat EVA inserts provide low-profile padding, maintain close contact with the back, and do not disrupt the saddle balance. The internal ventilation system promotes airflow, further enhancing breathability and comfort for the horse during use. The rear edge is covered with soft Acavallo® synthetic sheepskin, which quickly absorbs moisture, offers greater softness compared to traditional wool, and reduces the risk of rubbing or pressure on the skin. Acavallo® suede ensures abrasion resistance with dense, strong fibers and is easy to keep clean. The half pad is simple to hand wash and requires no complex maintenance.
